Provider visibility
How to Get Listed on the NDIS Provider Finder
Provider Finder visibility is a benefit of registered provider status, but it is not a substitute for a complete service profile or good participant communication. Your approved scope and Commission records come first.

Prepare for accurate listing information
- 01
Complete registration
The Commission issues a certificate showing your approved supports, registration period and conditions. Check the certificate as soon as it arrives.
- 02
Match your business identity
Use the legal entity and ABN consistently. Explain any trading name clearly so participants and referrers can match your listing to invoices and agreements.
- 03
Check scope and locations
Describe only the groups and service locations you can actually deliver. Update availability when your workforce or operating area changes.
- 04
Add helpful context
On your own website, explain intake, accessibility, languages, response times, fees and complaints. A directory listing cannot answer every participant question.
Provider Finder is not an endorsement
A listing can improve visibility, but participants still need enough information to make an informed choice. Avoid implying that a directory entry guarantees quality, suitability or availability for every participant.
If your registration details appear incorrect, use the Commission's official contact channels. Do not create duplicate or misleading business identities to manipulate search results.
Keep every public profile aligned
Review your website, Google Business Profile, social profiles, referral PDFs and directory entries after any registration change, renewal or change of trading name.
Frequently asked questions
- How do I get listed on the NDIS Provider Finder?
- Provider Finder visibility follows successful NDIS Commission registration. The Commission publishes registration details, so first complete the application, audit and suitability decision, then check that your public business information is accurate.
- Does being on Provider Finder guarantee NDIS clients?
- No. It improves visibility but does not guarantee referrals, participant suitability or availability. You still need a clear service offer, responsive intake and participant-centred practice.
- What should my website say if Provider Finder has limited information?
- Explain your approved supports, service area, availability, intake steps, pricing information, accessibility and complaints process. Keep every claim consistent with your certificate and current capacity.
