The process
Six steps from enquiry to registered provider
A clear sequence so you always know what happens next and who is responsible for each stage.
- 01
Tell us about your business
Business structure, ABN status, location and workforce so we understand your starting point.
- 02
Select the services you want to provide
We map your intended supports to the relevant registration groups and classes of support.
- 03
Prepare policies, evidence and self-assessment
Personalised policies and procedures, plus your self-assessment against the applicable NDIS Practice Standards.
- 04
Submit your application to the NDIS Commission
Your application covers registration groups, self-assessment and suitability questions.
- 05
Complete the independent audit
The Commission issues your Initial Scope of Audit after submission. You then engage an approved independent quality auditor.
- 06
Maintain ongoing compliance
Keep policies, risks, incidents, complaints and worker compliance current in Guardian Guard.
After you submit your application, the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission provides the Initial Scope of Audit. The provider then engages an approved independent quality auditor to complete the audit. The Commission assesses suitability and makes the registration decision.
