Keep worker screening separate from provider registration

A worker clearance does not register your business as an NDIS provider. Check the Commission's worker-screening guidance for the roles that need clearance, employer verification and the steps for sole traders. Ask your screening unit about other relevant checks and whether work can start while an application is pending.

Allow for realistic travel between appointments. Define who contacts a participant when a worker is delayed and how the team records changes to the agreed support. Keep service promises consistent across your website, enquiries and service agreements.
