Do You Need myID to Apply as an NDIS Provider?
Digital identity access is an easy part of registration to overlook. Set it up before you begin so your application is attached to the correct organisation and you do not lose time troubleshooting portal access.

Create or check myID
Set up the digital identity required for the Commission application portal and make sure your identity details are accurate.

Link the organisation
If you act for a company or other entity, check whether RAM authorisation is needed so you can act for the correct ABN.

Open the right portal
Use the Commission's Applications Portal and select the new provider registration pathway. Keep your own login details private.

Save your reference
Keep the application reference, drafts and confirmation emails in a secure business folder. The application must be completed within the portal's stated window.
myID is access, not approval
A myID account only lets you access the digital service. It does not prove that your business meets the Practice Standards, replace worker screening or create registration. The Commission still assesses your application, audit outcome and suitability.
If you previously used PRODA, check the current sign-in instructions because portal arrangements can change. Use official support channels for technical problems.

- Do companies need RAM as well as myID?
- A person acting for an organisation may need to link the business in Relationship Authorisation Manager (RAM). The exact authorisation depends on your entity and role, so follow the current ATO and Commission instructions.
- Can my consultant use my myID login?
- Keep your digital identity credentials private. A consultant can help prepare information, but you or an authorised representative should control access and remain responsible for what is submitted.
